Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to specialize in the installation, start-up, and ongoing maintenance of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Based in Sendai, Miyagi, Japan, this role is critical for ensuring seamless equipment deployment and operational excellence for our clients in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end on-site installation, calibration, and start-up of semiconductor equipment.
• Perform rigorous troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Provide comprehensive technical support and operational guidance to clients on-site.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven technical experience as a Field Service Engineer, specifically within the semiconductor equipment or high-tech manufacturing sector.
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering.
• Ability to read complex technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Sendai, Miyagi, Japan.
